Tasmanian Archives have a wonderful site - the two parts that I have been using most are
    Tasmanian Names Index and
    Colonial Tasmanian Family Links database.
    It's all free.
The first one gives the original documents for people in Tasmania in the 19th century, including those for convicts, so you get the crimes etc and also their physical descriptions. There are also copies of some 20th century wills for people who, for example, were born in the 19th century and died in the 20th. A good site to help decipher some of the convict records is Founders and Survivors.
The 2nd link above has been around for a while and as it says gives links between family members. It's not infallible and doesn't have exact dates but it is a useful guide.
    HTH,
