The NSW State Archives is an excellent place to trawl through with names under different categories. One never knows what may come up. I found a record of the first Indigenous woman to marry a convict ancestor of a friend. She was an exceptional woman who Governor Macquarie granted land to in her own right. So one never knows what will come up! It has many records of convicts as well. :)
