    This resource has been inaccessible via the web for sometime. It is because of some security constraints where it is hosted at Queen Mary University of London.
    I'm speculating, but Dr Williams's Library who own the Surman Index are moving to University of Manchester, so there is a hope that and other useful databases may come back online. Best watch the Dr Williams's Library website for news https://dwl.ac.uk
