The March 16th included Why was it called Spanish Flu? and mentioned a BBC article and a repeat of a TV docudrama.
Coming up on Friday at 11:00 am there is the start of a three part radio series on Radio 4 Pandemic 1918. The first part covers the three theories of how the pandemic originated and how it spread in three waves. Part 2 is on varying government responses including the role of misinformation. Episode 3 examines the long term impact on people, communities and on general health - so that one may tell us most about how our ancestors were affected.
