Ontario Genealogical Society Resources

    OGS is so well known to Canadian researchers that I had missed mentioning it. One of the excellent searchable databases it has is TONI which lists over 3 million names on Ontario cemetery records, and even a few which can be purchased on line. It's probably most valuable to establish approximate geographical locations and frequency of various surnames.

    I agree - very few of the records give dates (strange given that most of the information is said to come from tombstones), so it's more suggestions for further research than a source of information.
