Huddersfield Exposed provides easy access to many historical and parish resources in the Huddersfield area. Digitised books like The Parish Registers of Kirkburton: 1541-1711 (Vols I & II) edited by Frances Anne Collins and Dr Morehouse's The History and Topography of the Parish of Kirkburton and of the Graveship of Holme (1861) can be searched online using BookReader . The Mapping Project also makes it very easy to search the old place names referred to in parish records.
