    Although this resource, well worth a visit by the look of it, came to my attention through a discussion in the "growing up" section of the forum I thought a link to it belonged in this county. Possibly someone with strong ties to Cumbria had an ancestor who made pencils when it was a cottage industry or worked at the original factory.
