Today's Daily Mail has published an article which I thought was rather fascinating. It's about something called The London Sound Survey, and is exactly what the title says......recorded sounds in the London area. These include people talking, transport, wildlife and much more, and I am sure people in the future will find it as interesting to listen to as we do watching all the old British Pathe films.

It's interesting to see the people recording this are also using data from the 2011 census and it really brought it home to me again how useful our censuses are.
