Stumbled across this thanks to my co-curators at the Lives of the First World War. The particular link is to coroner's reports but the entire site is the Public Records Office of Northern Ireland. Although the number of surviving coroner's reports is quite small it could be useful for your search or just as a snapshot of a community.
