I've found a few entries in the Cheshire Parish Reg. Project in the past, but it's extremely cumbersome to use and last time I checked, still didn't have the parish I'm interested in. Thankfully, I found a pdf. of the parish transcribed in a book online about a year ago, and I can now check this with the original images on findmypast. It's such a shame after all that voluntary work, that the Cheshire Parish Reg. Project is not as easy to use and as flexible as the OPCs. Nor does it have a transcription of the original record like the LOPC does. I tend to steer clear of it now and use findmypast in conjunction with familysearch (since sadly, the search at findmypast isn't as flexible as Ancestry) Guess I've been spoilt by the Lancashire OPC

The address for one of the websites in Tim's list has changed. The new address is Cheshire Parish Register Project

The old site is still there but the database doesn't work.
