How I started my research.

I have been researching my family roots for over 50 years. It started with a school project and in the beginning was mainly based on family stories and documents. Some stories were factual, were as some were based on fables put together to hide the fact that both of my mothers maternal grandparents had been born out of wedlock. Shocking back then but now just a bit of colour added to a rather mundane tree.
