Blue phone boxes

    I note mentioned in the latest newsletter an article about dark blue phone boxes with the parenthetical note about them only being “now only seen on Dr Who” yet there are still several around the U.K. many are recreations, but some such as the one on Princes Street in Edinburgh are original.
    The one in London outside the Earl’s Court tube station is a newer box based on the original designed but installed in 1996 as part of an experiment you can read about here.
