Bath & North East Somerset BDM indexes

    Bath is one of the Registry Offices that are creating local indexes for the Civil Registrations in their area. Bath BMD
    The advantage of the local indexes is greatest for the marriages as the actual marriage place is shown.
    Otherwise the advantage is that you have the information to order a copy of the original certificate rather than a copy of the copy which you get from the GRO.
