Always good to see New Members joining. All numbers down this week but to be expected, it is meant to be summer in the Northern Hemisphere, although that would be difficult to tell here in the UK.

It would be good to see the whole picture, if possible.
How many members are there? How many entries are there? How many matches have been made?

 

Further information is available to subscribers but that is not generally to be displayed to the 'whole world' on an open site such as this forum.

 

I am a subscriber, you have to be a subscriber to join the forum don't you?

 

You have to be a member but not necessarily a subscriber at LostCousins to join the forum. I think that the only condition is for the member to achieve a minimum value of match potential and then Peter invites them to join.

Members of LostCousins who pay a small annual fee get access to an extra part of the LostCousins site and are then also allowed to make initial contact with other members, at any time, that are identified as New Contacts on the My Cousins page.

 

I have found the information, it's at the top of the page 'for subscribers only'. I never thought to look there until you pointed out 'the extra part'. Thanks.

• 4,765 new entries have been added and
• 1,118 relatives have been matched.

Always good to see New Members joining. New Entries and Relatives Matched are both up this week and for the 3rd week. Only New Members down but it's still a very healthy number so a great result everyone.

The ratio of New Entries to Relatives Matched is a very impressive 4.26, which means on average every 5th person added made a match. How great is that for all of us?

The ratio of New Entries to Relatives Matched is a great 10.31, which means on average every 10th person added made a match. How great is that for all of us?

• 27 new members joined the LostCousins site
• 2,396 new entries have been added and
• 57 relatives have been matched.

Always good to see New Members joining. New Entries are up but it's another quiet week otherwise.

Even though the number of Matches is low compared to the New Entries, it's not actually a bad thing. These are relatives in areas or countries that have never been added before, and are all helping to fill in the "gaps" in the Lost Cousins database. So that when we or other new members add those same relatives we will get an immediate match.

Always good to see New Members joining. All entries are down this week, but not really surprising after such a good week last week.
Unfortunately, 1 of my contacts has washed out, no DNA shared between us so the paper trail for 1 or both of us is incorrect. Thank goodness for DNA, to help us stay on the correct paper trail.
